Puppy Start  .. For pups 10 – 16 weeks of age

This is a 4-week session. Cost is $175.00        Instructed by:  Assistant Trainer Debbie Green

Debbie has been with Love of Dogs Training for 2 years now. Debbie works with our private clients teaching on-leash dog walking and specializes in our reactive dogs program.

Debbie also runs the puppy socials and Puppy Start class teaching effective communication with your pup, reading body language and basic manners.

All pups must have at least their 2nd round of shots including Bordetella shot. (Please check with your vet)

This is a combination class of puppy level training and socialization play. It is a great way to show your pup that training can be fun.

During play, we’ll review your pups body language and play style so in the future you can help gauge safe playdates for your pup.

In the 4 weeks we will introduce the marker word, name recognition, and reward timing. These are basic skills to effectively let you communicate clearly with your pup.

Intro to sit, down, touch, accepting handling exercises, watch me and name recognition recall.

If your pup knows some of these exercises, it is a good place to practice them with the distractions of a new place, people and other pups.

Only 2 people to accompany a pup.

We schedule 2 pup start class 4-4:50 and 5-5:50 pm….. ( pups divided into the appropriate class according to their size and age)

Please sign up for this class and in comment field add your pups weight.

Also add if you can only be available for one of the time slots due to schedule restrictions.

We will contact you for your pups final class time.
